France requires three weeks with the public employment service, and requires the whole application to be filed at least three months before your start date. A shortage occupation usually removes this step, which is why being on a shortage list is worth more than any fast track scheme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recognition of your qualification.<\/strong> For regulated professions this is months and is entirely outside the immigration system. Germany assesses it state by state. Nursing and teaching involve a professional register with its own queue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exam calendars.<\/strong> Where a route tests you rather than your paperwork, as Japan&#8217;s does, your start date is set by when the exam is next held in your country.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So the genuinely fastest way through is not to find the country with the shortest processing time.
